How Can I Get Involved?
There are always service opportunities available, as volunteers are needed in many areas such as:
Receptions and Dinners - New Member Recognition, Confirmation Recognition (usually on Pentecost Sunday), Easter Brunch, Lenten Dinners and Advent Dinners.
VBS - Be a team leader or a helper.
Sunday School - Be a teacher.
Church Picnic - Held each fall.
Work Days - Minor maintenance and building projects.
Office help - Bulletin Folders or Newsletter Collators, Staplers, Folders and Tapers.
Assist in the School Programs - Many opportunities.
Nursery Monitor - During either the 8:00am or 10:30am Sunday service.
Altar Circle - Prepare and place communion-ware on the altar on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays of the month. Work is usually done on Saturday morning.
Coffee Hour Hosts - After the 8:00am service.
Usher - Can be done at any service, either individually or as a family.
Acolyte - Can be done at any service; students grade 7 and up.
Offering Counters - Assist Financial Secretary after 2nd service.
