Journey to the Cross 2010

On March 28th, our Sunday School children will participate in Journey to the Cross, an experiential walk that helps them better understand the events in the last week of Jesus’ life. As they travel in small groups, they will stop at various stations and use their senses to connect to the events of Jesus' life from Palm Sunday through His resurrection on Easter Sunday.  We will also present this Journey after late service on Palm Sunday.  This is an amazing learning experience for adults, too.  We hope you will stay after late service or come back and participate.

Our Sunday School and church are taking a Journey to the Cross, an Easter learning experience. We need some great volunteers to make that Journey as meaningful as possible, and we’re hoping that you will help. We are hoping if you volunteered last year that you will consider helping again this year.  Our Sunday School children learned a lot from this experience last year and talked about it for months afterwards.  Would you please help our children and adults experience the events of Christ’s Passion by serving as a Tour Guide, an actor at one of the stations or as a station volunteer?  This will take place during Sunday School and after late service on March 28, 2010.  If you have any questions or can help Parish Education with Journey to the Cross please call Linda or e-mail at seegark@q.com or Ellen or e-mail at bornblessed@q.com.  Please take time to pray for our Journey to the Cross and for all our volunteers. Kids, Join us for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt!

Our annual Egg Hunt will be on Saturday, April 3rd at 9:30 a.m.
We will hunt eggs, do a family Easter craft and have refreshments.
