Music
of Atonement - God's gifts are many. Music is one gift that most
of us enjoy, either through listening or participation. God's Word can also be
shared through this gift of music that He has given us.
Atonement has two choirs that regularly participate in the worship life of our
church. The Adult Choir and the Bell Choir offer options for those with
different musical talents and interests. The Adult Choir is open to all members
of high school age or older, and includes both traditional and somewhat
contemporary styles of music. The Bell Choir includes members from sixth grade
and up, and they play a variety of Christian tunes and arrangements.
The season for both choirs is September through May. The Adult Choir typically
practices every Thursday at 7:30 p.m., and the Bell Choir rehearses Thursday
evenings at 6:15 p.m.
